Allport Cargo Services USA is a dynamic third-party logistics company with a team of global logistics professionals who are forward thinking, passionate, and committed to excellence. We are seeking a Project Management Intern to work closely with our IS&S and Service Delivery team, to develop and support our rapid growth in the logistics field.
Position Overview
Position will focus on becoming a subject matter expert (SME) on the ACS Project Management Software tool, Workfront. The Project Management Intern will assist in configuration, setup and training of the tool.
Responsibilities
- Work with IS&S (Information Systems & Services) and Service Delivery team members to document current Workfront process
- Review and help develop improved processes in utilizing Workfront based on the ACS Project Life Cycle
- Develop improved visibility to projects through reporting
- Develop training in the ACS specific use of Workfront for Project Management across all teams
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Project Management methodology
- Project Management experience in a work environment is preferred
- Working knowledge of Project Management software tools, Workfront preferred, but not required
- Facility to learn and utilize software application
- Willingness to learn, explore and experiment
- Project Management training, progress toward PMP certification or degree preferred
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with MS Office and other related applications
Education
Working towards Degree in Project Management preferred
