Position Summary:

The Operations Implementation Manager leads and reviews with internal and external Global project stakeholders for multiple large-scale projects.  This role executes implementation documentation and platform configuration requirements of full-scale projects to include but not limited to: Standard Operating Procedures, Carrier Routing Guides, Nexus configuration workbooks while supporting requests for integrations and/or continuous improvement opportunities for the onboarding of new business as well as, customized logistics development projects.  The Operations/Implementation Manager collaborates with origin and destination account management on processes leading to a customer go-live on the ACS 3PL/PO Management model.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead Implementation of new business awards or next phase projects of existing business with a focus on creating operational documentation
  • SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) development defining customer-specific processes for vendor shipping windows, booking exceptions, carrier allocation, commercial documentation, invoicing, and security initiatives.
  • Develop test plans supporting the Infor Nexus Configuration and UAT (User-Acceptance Testing) guides following SOP requirements.
  • Manage tasks against Work Front Project Plan to meet deadlines and minimize risks
  • Communicate, engage, and support customer business partners during implementation
  • Provide Weekly project updates to all project team members
  • Assist in making business decisions relating to the implementation project
  • Guide customers through Infor Nexus navigation and platform functionality and conduct Info new user training
  • Engage management or leadership in other areas as needed to ensure customer success
  • Lead transition of projects to account management
  • Support process improvements in support of ACS’ company Goals and Objectives

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in 3PL/PO account management for global supply chain customers with strong operational knowledge of international supply chain
  • 3-5 years 3PL implementation role with strong operational expertise
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
  • 3-5 years’ experience of Infor Nexus portal and global operational usage
