Full Visibility From The Origin Warehouse To The Final Mile

ACS has experienced explosive growth in the Mexico marketplace through a diverse product offering centered around our end-to-end visibility model.
Currently, our Mexico team services numerous ACS USA clients moving cargo across several trade lanes and modes. The scope includes the Trans-pacific and Mexico/US East and West Coast ports by short and deep sea, as well as by truck, FTL and LTL cross-border, northbound and southbound, between the USA and MEX. ACS Mexico also serves as the Control Tower for the Caribbean, Central and South America markets as well as provides remote backroom services for the America’s region.

Mark Seal, Vice President, Supply Chain at Emser Tile, who moves both ocean and truckload from Mexico to the USA states “Since we started with ACS, we have improved product availability, enhanced carrier bookings, and the ability to provide ETA details in a timely manner; thus, achieving our initial project outcomes.”

Gustavo Maya, Managing Director, ACS Mexico says, “We are proud of the CFS and truck sensor program we designed and implemented for GE Appliances. In this program we manage the pickup and delivery of product from various suppliers across Mexico to two of our cross-dock facilities (Querétaro, Mexico and Laredo, Texas) as well as the northbound cross border move to their plants in the USA. The GPS sensor data is linked within the shipment in our Infor Nexus platform to provide marker visibility at every start/stop point and enables our team to know and action any disruptions. Our Mexico team is the key-link between the suppliers, customs brokers and trucking companies performing the over the road movement to final delivery.”

Ty Reed, Senior Lean Specialist, Project Lead Advanced Manufacturing – Strategic Materials from GE Appliances, a Haier Company, states “GEA was able to optimize the Mexico-USA supply chain and deliver cost-savings through this innovative program.” Utilizing ACS’s GPS devices, GE can monitor their shipments in real time from the origin CFS warehouse to final place of delivery.
